International Criminal Don, Supremo, alias Trikal Anna is concerned when he hears that two of his trusted lieutenants are at war with each other. So he decides to travel to India to settle their dispute. Upon arrival, he summons Goverdhan and Damani to his chambers and instructs them to shake hands and end their dispute, when they refuse, he instructs them to marry their children with each other. Goverdhan and Damani agree and shake hands. Goverdhan returns home and instructs his son, Vicky, to go to Surat, meet with Damani's daughter, Priti, get to know her and then marry her. Vicky does so, and travels to Surat via his car. Goverdhan receives word that Vicky has reached Surat, has met Priti, and both are in love with each other. Then he gets a shock when Vicky shows up at home, claiming that he never reached Surat, as his car met with an accident. An agitated Goverdhan, fearing a plot by the scheming Damani, travels to Surat along with his wife and Vicky, and this is where Goverdhan's world will turn upside down, and his life, quite hilariously, will never be the same again.

The jobs of "Sholay" obsessed Deep and Rishi are on the line with their advertising firm if they do not come up with a one-liner for Mr. Roy's condoms. Gangaram alias Ganga (Govinda) lives a simple yet straight-forward life in a small village with his mom and dad (Shivaji Satham and Reema Lagoo), and Saawni (Sonli Bendre) his sweetheart. When the time comes for Ganga to marry, his parents inform him that his biological parents live in the city, and want him also to settle there. Ranjit Rai (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) and his close friend Harbanslal (Dalip Tahil), are two wealthy men who want their children, Ajay (Ajay Devgan) and Madhu (Juhi Chawla) to marry each other. Unfortunately for them they are in love with not as wealthy Kajal (played by Kajol) and Raja (Aamir Khan). Each parent deceivingly get their children to sign a marriage certificate which declares them married to each other. Both the lovers refuse to back down, and their parents try everything to separate them. They eventually accept their choices and they prepare for the engagement. Unfortunately at the party, pictures are shown of Raja and Kajal acting very intimate with each other. It turns out that the whole thing was an act set up by Ajay and Madhu's parents. Raja and Kajal are willing to prove their innocence but Ranjit Rai and Harbanslal are determined to keep them away.

Fresh out of law school, Advocate Avinash Kapoor lands a job as a Lecturer in a city college. This appointment does not last long as some male students decide to make his life miserable, when he resists, they kidnap his blind sister, Geeta, and molest her. When Avinash beats them up, he is arrested, and found guilty by a Judge without even a trial, when he protests, he is sentenced to six days in jail for contempt of court. When he returns he finds that he is no longer employed. He does get employment as a Lawyer for a firm, only to be sacked the next day when they find out he has been in jail. The Kapoors move to Bombay, where his mother has a heart attack and Avinash compromises on all his good values and goes to work for a smuggle and drug dealer, Agnihotri, so as to make payments for his mom's treatment. He falls in love with a dancer named Sonia, not knowing that Agnihotri's brother, Dilip, is also interested in her. Sonia and Avinash get intimate, Sonia gets pregnant, and she moves in with Avinash and his family. Dilip is not satisfied and wants Sonia for himself, so he abducts and molests her leading to her death. An enraged Avinash hunts down Dilip and kills him, thus making himself a target by both the police and the very underworld that he was a part of. Avinash is arrested and held in a cell. It is at this point he decides to spill the beans on Agnihotri and his illicit trades, on the condition that the police offer protection to his sister and mom, which they agree to. All is set for Avinash's court testimony, when he receives a note that his mom and sister have been abducted and he must confess to the killings of both Sonia and Dilip. Avinash is now in a quandary - if he testifies against Agnihotri, his sister and mom will be killed, and if he does not - then he may well face the death sentence.

Jwala Prasad is to marry the girl of his dreams. On the day of the marriage, she is dressed all in red, as is the tradition in India. Just before the wedding she slips off to meet her real lover. When Jwala finds out, be is so enraged at he turns into a monster and kills both the to-be bride and her male friend. The saga does not end here, and this monster continues to terrorize the region, first abducting brides dressed in red just before the wedding procession stops at a Mandir (temple). When a to-be groom finally confronts and kills the monster, it leaves the body of Jwala Prasad and possesses the body of it's killer. And the terror continues. Years late another male has now killed this creature, and the monster has re-possessed it's body, and it's again on the rampage. The police and men of this region do confront this creature, but find out it is invincible, bullets cannot harm it, nor can physical strength of fully grown men overpower it. The suspense mounts as one by one the brides are killed and no one seems to have a clue, and everybody seems to be suspect, including the village Poojari, the Thakur, his son, and several other people. Even if they do manage to kill this creature, it will simply re-possess the body of another male, and continue on it's gruesome task.

Vishal, Sameer Kelkar, and Siddharth Singh are Indian Air Force pilots who have been assigned to handle the latest fighter jets to be used against their enemies, the Pakistanis. While flying several sorties over enemy territory they gain valuable experience and it is this that prepares them to go into enemy territory.
